Corey Bird

A Major in the U.S. Army Reserve, Corey recently completed his third tour of duty. In 2012, Corey led the economic and financial development team for Afghanistan, and his success in the planning and implementation of an overarching economic plan for Afghanistan was both challenging and rewarding. Corey’s efforts in agriculture, textiles, mining and trade resulted in over $35 million in foreign direct investment in that country that paralleled outside investments from countries and corporations globally. Corey continues to donate services to several non-governmental organizations focused on helping local economies abroad.
Corey is a Washington native and began his financial services career while attending college in Seattle with an internship at one of Wall Street’s leading firms. During his senior year, he became licensed and worked for a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) in the Seattle area. After one of his military activations, Corey took a position working with a real estate brokerage company and then later joined a well recognized broker-dealer in eastern Washington. After serving in Iraq, Corey joined Rowland Carmichael Advisors.
Corey’s hobbies include serving our country, camping, fishing and golf.
