Tax attorney & Financial Skeptic @ Victoria J. Powell JD, LL.M
Victoria Powell is a summa cum laude Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Emory University, and holds both JD and LL.M (taxation) degrees from the University of Florida College of Law. She began her law career as a published author, criminal litigator, and her tax law career in corporate tax for Shell Oil in Houston, Texas. Her teaching experience includes college, law school, continuing legal and continuing medical education. Look for her forthcoming book for the American Bar Association, Tax Law for Lawyers Who Aren’t Tax Lawyers. She is most proud of having made her father, a medical school professor, the entire cost of her legal education with real estate tax savings from a little known tax exemption and just a few cows.
She likes helping smart successful people “get there” sooner and with less risk. This means constant research and giving the very best financial advice, integrating tax, legal and financial knowledge for smarter decisions and fewer unnecessary losses on the path from personal working income to hard-working net worth.
